The Name
The name "Luca Bos" carries special significance to our mission and values. It comes from an ancient Romanian term for "elephant" — literally translating to "Lucanian Cow."

When Lucanian warriors rode into battle on elephants, Romanians had never seen such creatures before. They simply described them as "cows" (Bos) from Lucania (Luca), creating the term "Luca Bos."

We chose this name not only for its unique history but for the powerful symbolism of elephants across cultures:
